These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of democracytoday.news (the “Site”), published by Democracy Today, a business unit of Atlas Media Network, LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our content

The articles, essays, photographs, illustrations, graphics, logos and other material on the Site are owned by Atlas Media Network, LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, share links to and print our content for your personal, noncommercial use. You may quote brief excerpts with clear attribution to Democracy Today and a link to the original page.

Unless you have our written permission, you may not republish, sell, license or otherwise commercially exploit our content, or remove any copyright, trademark or attribution notices. Requests for permission can be sent to info@atlasmedianetwork.org.

Material from third parties, including works of the U.S. government and images credited to other sources, remains subject to its own terms.

Information, not advice

Our journalism is provided for general information. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Democracy Today is not an election authority: for registration, deadlines, polling places and official results, rely on vote.gov and your state or local election office.

We work to make our reporting accurate and correct errors promptly, as described in our Standards & Ethics and Corrections policies. Information can change after publication, and each article reflects what was known as of its publication or update date.

Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

When our store opens, purchases will be handled by a third-party checkout provider and will be subject to the terms presented at checkout. We will not receive or store your payment card details.
